Framing Nature

Careyes Style architecture

"Architects like Alberto Mazzoni, Marco Aldaco, Jean-Claude Galibert, and Diego Villaseñor were the ones who materialized Brignone's ideas, transforming them into works overflowing with color, filled with mysticism and symbolism, yet at the same time possessing rustic simplicity and total harmony with the nature of this coast, giving rise to a style of its own:

- Architectural Digest

The architects behind the architectural marvels in Careyes are a diverse and talented group that come from all corners of the world and have left an indelible mark on this coastal paradise.

Characteristics of the Careyes Style

The Careyes Style is a symphony of hues, drawing inspiration from the rich, authentic colors of Mexico. Our villas, adorned in vivid shades, dance harmoniously with the coastal landscape, creating a living canvas that bursts with vibrant masterpieces.

Bold &Vibrant Colors

Our architecture weaves indoor and outdoor spaces together to frame the natural artworks that surround us. Careyes structures artfully showcase nature's own masterpieces, ensuring every view is a framed work of living artistry.

Frames of Natural Artworks

The Careyes Style beautifully blends the spirit of the Mexican coast with the warmth and charm of Mediterranean design. This unique fusion creates an architectural style that feels both exotic and familiar, unfolding like a sun-kissed love letter where Mexican vibrancy meets Mediterranean elegance.

Mexican-Mediterranean Flair

All Careyes structures, like the famed Copa del Sol, are masterpieces that use light and design to craft ever-changing art as the sun gracefully sets, turning the spaces into a canvas of contrast and creativity.

Light & Shadows

The architecture gracefully adapts to the landscape and abandons the rigidity of straight lines in favor of rounded and organic shapes that seamlessly blend with the landscape. Buildings blend into the natural environment, embracing the artistry of life's elegant twists and turns.

Sensual & Organic

In the realm of Careyes, palapas aren't just roofs; they're towering tales of two stories. Here, the traditional palapa design takes on a grandeur of its own, offering not just shade but also spacious elegance.

Palatial Palapas

In Careyes, architecture is a handcrafted masterpiece. Local artisans use organic materials, transforming pebbles into intricate carpets or traditional palapas into grand structures. Each element harmonizes with the landscape, celebrating both nature and human creativity.

Creative Artistry

Our architecture seamlessly weaves indoor and outdoor spaces, creating an uninterrupted connection to the surrounding landscape.  Every room invites the natural world inside, offering an intimate front-row seat to the breathtaking coastal spectacle

Seamless Immersion in Nature

Welcome to a realm where architecture is not just built but sculpted, where space breathes with the land, and nature's artworks are framed in a symphony of design and elegance.

"People come here to connect, whether that be with nature or the growing community of visionaries transforming this coastal stretch into one of Mexico’s most fascinating art havens".

"This is precisely the kind of place you have to see to believe. Careyes is equal parts private retreat, luxury resort, architectural marvel, and creative community".

"This abundance of raw, wild nature is not a coincidence. Unlike other destinations in Mexico, Costalegre has remained protected and purposefully low-impact for decades".
